One of our core initiatives is our educational incentive program, designed to inspire and motivate youth to excel academically. We believe that education is the key to a brighter future, and we strive to create an environment where learning is both rewarding and enjoyable. Through this program, we recognize and celebrate the achievements of students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance.
Our program identifies and selects students who excel academically, and they become part of a special group known as the GASP Peer Principles. This group comprises a diverse and dynamic group of young individuals who serve as role models within their schools and communities. These exceptional students act as mentors, guiding and inspiring their peers to become better students and model citizens.
To be a part of the Peer Principles group, students must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0. This requirement ensures that the program remains focused on academic excellence while fostering an environment of continuous improvement. By maintaining this GPA, Peer Principles members demonstrate their commitment to their education and personal growth.
These exceptional individuals, who maintain a GPA of 3.7 and higher, play a vital role in guiding and supporting their fellow GASP Youth members. Peer Leaders lead by example, providing guidance, encouragement, and mentorship to help their peers thrive academically and in all areas of life.
At GASP, our ultimate goal is for all youth members to strive for excellence and reach their full potential. We firmly believe that every child deserves access to quality education and the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their circumstances. Through our educational incentive programs, we aim to break down barriers and empower single parents and their children to dream big, achieve greatness, and become the best versions of themselves.
Join us in our mission to help single parents and their children breathe easier and create a brighter future. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of families and communities, one breath at a time.
